Location Info: Located on a private island right next door to the world-famous Curacao Aquarium and just 10 minutes from Willemstad, the capital of Curacao, The Royal Sea Aquarium is a peaceful hideaway as perfect for a family vacation as it is for a Caribbean dive break without the kids. The ocean views are spectacular and some units even have balcony views of the dolphins at the aquarium. Resort guests spend their time on the beach, by the pools or exploring the island. Staff will assist them with information and reservations for snorkeling and dive trips, island excursions, cruises and fishing charters. Dive trips can also be booked through the Ocean Encounters PADI dive center just over the bridge from the resort. There are tennis courts, shops and a fitness center within walking distance of the resort. Admission to the Curacao Aquarium is free for resort guests and a visit is highly recommended. It is a good way to discover the wonders of the Caribbean up close without getting wet! Other activities available at the aquarium (cost involved) include snorkeling or diving feeding stingrays, sea turtles and sharks, a sea lion show, semi-submarine ride and swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Academy.
